Oh, its almost the end of the month.
Time for the fare inspectors to gather
and issue tickets to the homeless
who ride for free.
$75 for fare evaders!

Begs a few questions:
-Why not fine the drivers for letting people on for free? (Not performing their jobs fully)
-Why ticket a person who clearly has not showered in months?
-Why spread 20 officers over a single intersection to only inspect the 2 most destitute, most shitty bus routes the city has (routes that only travel through the poorer neighborhoods, mind you. Unfortunately the answer for this is just plain reality: if you are a hunter of deer, it makes sense to stake out an area that is plentiful in deer / if you are a fare inspector, it makes sense to be present in an area that has a lot of people without money.)
-Why do we still pay to ride a bus that is fully wrapped from tip to tail in advertisements? Why do fares keep getting increased at the same time MUNI takes on more and more of these advertisements in their “bus shelters” as well as inside the actual busses themselves? (If my bus is wrapped in a Coke ad, I not only expect to ride for free but I expect to be handed an ice cold Coke upon boarding… every time.)
